Adversaries

The Overmind

The ultimate adversary — 50 HP, all Level 3 attacks, and astronomical wake thresholds.

The Overmind

The Overmind is the ultimate adversary in Stamp Collector Simulator. With 50 HP, an all-Level-3 attack pool, and wake thresholds that require extreme late-game progression, this is the endgame boss.

Every attack is Level 3. There are no light probes — every hit is devastating.

The Numbers

  • 50 HP — requires 6 Level 3 spells (54 damage, 4 overkill)
  • 18h attack interval — faster than most adversaries, ~1.3 attacks per day
  • 500K stamps / 5M money — astronomical wake threshold
  • 100 stamps + 100K money — the best kill reward in the game
  • 833-day sleep — kill it once and it stays dead for over 2 years

Kill Strategy

HP: 50 — the most expensive kill in the game.

MethodSpells NeededInvestment
Level 3 spells66 Advanced Security Shard sets + contacts
5 L3 + 3 L28Mixed approach, slightly cheaper per-shard
Level 2 spells13Impractical

Six Level 3 spells is a massive investment. Each requires multiple Advanced Security Shards, which themselves require deep Security tree progression.

Should You Kill or Whitelist?

At this level of play, you should have both options available.

Kill because:

  • 100 stamps + 100,000 money — best reward in the game
  • 833-day sleep — effectively permanent removal
  • You’re at 500K+ stamps, so you clearly have the infrastructure
  • Bragging rights

Whitelist because:

  • 6 Level 3 spells is expensive even for endgame players
  • Every attack is Level 3 — Banking Intrusion can zero your money, Buffer Overflow wipes your software
  • 18h interval means sustained pressure while you prepare
  • If you’re not ready for a kill, the damage accumulates fast

Survival Guide (While Preparing to Kill)

If The Overmind wakes before you’re ready:

  1. Keep money low — Banking Intrusion sets money to 0, so spend before it hits
  2. Entropy Wipe constantly — BIOS Exploit will stack malware
  3. Backup constructs — Buffer Overflow will wipe your software. Have materials to rebuild
  4. Stockpile 6 Level 3 spells — then execute all at once
  5. Consider Favor From Above — if you can’t kill it, whitelist and plan for next time

Tips

  • Don’t trigger it early — be very aware of the 500K stamp / 5M money threshold
  • In multiplayer, anyone can trigger it — another player hitting the threshold wakes it for everyone
  • 18h interval + all L3 = devastating — expect Banking Intrusion every ~3 days on average
  • Kill is permanent (practically) — 2.3 years of sleep means you’ll never see it twice
  • The ultimate flex — killing The Overmind is the closest thing to “beating” the game
