Kill Strategy

HP: 8 — still fairly easy.

MethodSpells Needed
1 Level 3 spell1 (9 damage, 1 overkill)
2 Level 2 spells2 (8 damage, exact)
Level 1 spells8

One Level 3 spell is the cleanest kill.

Target Selection: Richest Player

The Hacktivist Collective always targets the player with the most stamps (excluding whitelisted players). This means:

  • If you’re #1 on the leaderboard, you’re always the target
  • If you drop below another player, the target shifts to them
  • In single-player, you’re always the target (you’re the only player)

Should You Kill or Whitelist?

Kill in most cases:

  • Only 8 HP — one Level 3 spell
  • No devastating attacks (no Banking Intrusion, Buffer Overflow, etc.)
  • Decent rewards (8 stamps + 2,000 money)
  • Only worth whitelisting if you’re consistently the richest player and don’t want to deal with it

Tips

  • Leaderboard awareness — if you’re #1, expect this adversary to focus on you
  • 54h interval — slightly more aggressive than Script Kiddie/Corporate Spy
  • No heavy hitters — the spell pool is all Level 1. Damage is spread thin
  • 42-day sleep — reasonable downtime after a kill
