Adversaries

Script Kiddie

The weakest adversary — your first taste of combat and an easy source of kill rewards.

Script Kiddie

The Script Kiddie is the first adversary most players encounter. It’s weak, slow, and easy to kill — a good introduction to the adversary system and a free source of stamps and money.

All Level 1 attacks. Individually annoying but not threatening.

Kill Strategy

HP: 3 — the easiest adversary to kill.

MethodSpells Needed
1 Level 3 spell1 (9 damage, 6 overkill)
1 Level 2 spell1 (4 damage, 1 overkill)
Level 1 spells3

A single Foreign Script (Hack Level 1) costs just 1 Basic Security Shard. Three of those kill the Script Kiddie. Even easier with a Level 2 or 3 spell — one shot.

Should You Kill or Whitelist?

Always kill. The Script Kiddie is not worth a Favor From Above:

  • Only 3 HP — trivially cheap to kill
  • Attacks every 72h — very slow
  • Kill rewards (2 stamps + 500 money) are easy income
  • Whitelisting costs are better spent on dangerous adversaries

Tips

  • Don’t panic — Script Kiddie attacks are weak. A Foreign Script steals only 500 money, a Malformed Packet drains only 30 total capacity
  • Farm it — kill on sight for free stamps and money. 21-day sleep means it comes back regularly
  • Good practice — use the Script Kiddie to learn adversary combat mechanics before facing real threats
  • Random targeting — in multiplayer, you might not be the target. But at 3 HP, it’s worth killing anyway for the rewards
